Politics fueled by rage and hatred are threatening basic human rights around the globe. My mission is to create art through color, contrast, and texture to convey subversive hope amid the harmony and discord of our unpredictable existence.

Susan is a former Wall Street Journal editor and corporate communicator, who has lived and worked in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
In addition to her work in journalism and communications, she has produced freelance photographs and/or writing for The Baltimore Sun, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and Newsday, among other publications. She has held two solo shows in Richmond and her works are in private collections.
After moving to Richmond in 2019 she turned her energy and focus to creating art. She has exhibited her photography and mixed media work with Art for the Journey, Art Works, Artspace Gallery, 1708 Gallery, the Boyd Realty Gallery, Fredericksburg (VA) Center for the Creative Arts, the Europe-based FemLens online photography gallery, Montpelier Center for Education and Arts, the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, and First Unitarian Universalist gallery.
She is a member of the Richmond Photographers Collective, the Fredericksburg CCA, Second Street Gallery in Charlottesville, VA, and the Virginia Beach Art Center.
